Our writing, sources & corrections

These guides are edited by the NihongoHub Team. We refer to the official JLPT for exam rules and level descriptions, the Japan Foundation’s Irodori for everyday language, and EDRDG and KanjiVG for character references. Relevant sources are linked beside the content. NihongoHub is an independent learning project, not an official JLPT organization.

Our N5/N4 lists are maintained study collections, not an official exhaustive syllabus. Component-based memory aids do not always describe a character’s historical origin. If you spot an error, send us the page URL and the example so we can review it.
