1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the NihongoHub website, mobile application, or related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

NihongoHub provides Japanese language learning content and tools, including structured lessons, kana and kanji practice, JLPT preparation materials, vocabulary drills, and related features designed primarily for Bangladeshi learners.

We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We strive to keep content accurate and up to date but do not guarantee that all materials meet every learner's needs or official JLPT requirements.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us promptly of any unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features require a paid subscription. By purchasing a subscription:

• You agree to the pricing and billing terms presented at checkout
• Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Refunds are handled according to the policies of the platform where you purchased (e.g., Google Play, Apple App Store) or as stated on our website at the time of purchase
• We may change subscription prices with reasonable notice; changes apply to subsequent billing periods

Free tiers or promotional access may be offered at our discretion and may be modified or withdrawn at any time.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Copy, redistribute, scrape, or resell NihongoHub content without permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Create multiple accounts to abuse free trials or promotions
• Upload malicious code or content that infringes others' rights
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation

We may investigate violations and take appropriate action, including account suspension or termination.

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the Service—including lessons, text, graphics, audio, software, logos, and trademarks—is owned by NihongoHub or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial learning purposes. This license does not permit reproduction, distribution, or public display of our content outside the Service.

8. User Content

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or other content to us, you grant NihongoHub a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate that content to improve the Service. You represent that you have the right to submit such content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• You will achieve specific JLPT results or language proficiency
• All content is complete, current, or free of errors

Educational outcomes depend on your effort, consistency, and individual circumstances.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NIHONGOHUB AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO NIHONGOHUB IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD $100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bangladesh, unless otherwise required by mandatory applicable law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
